Joe’s 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry began with FSR, Inc., as the general manager of their metal fabrication facility. With the knowledge gained from his time at FSR, he left to found EVS Metal in 1994 with
Scott Berkowitz.From there, Joe and his team grew the company from a single 5,000 square foot facility in Riverdale, New Jersey, to what is now over 270,000 square feet of space spanning four states.
Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a business minor from William Paterson University. A firm believer in giving back to his community, he is actively involved with St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital Foundation as a member of their Board of Trustees.
General Manager EVS Metal-NH Division
Jay brings over 30 years of experience in manufacturing and sales operations with a focus on precision machining and fabrication to EVS Metal. Throughout his tenures as Operations Director, Sales Operations Director and now General Manager
he has focused extensively on lean manufacturing practices in job shop environments. He has held several lean training programs and created and implemented culture change for both past employers and EVS. Jay is a graduate of Polytechnic Institute of New England, where he studied computer aided design (CAD) and manufacturing.
Jay is committed to giving back to his community, and has served as a board member for Miracles in Motion, a therapeutic riding program for special needs children. He has also participated with the Monadnock United Way for several years and spent time as a loaned executive for the organization. Additionally, Jay has worked with local vocational schools to help introduce students to skilled trades and encourage them to participate in related educational programs.
Manager Corporate QA, EVS Metal-NJ Division
Dipak came to EVS’s NJ corporate headquarters from Flextronics Enclosures in 2004, bringing with him a BS in mechanical engineering and more than 25 years spent in manufacturing environments. His 37 years of total experience has resulted in a special interest in systems such
as lean manufacturing, cell manufacturing, kanban, JIT and MRP.
A Six Sigma Black Belt certification in 2002 gave him the tools to manage complex programs including those involving root cause analysis, FMEA, process mapping and capability, as well as tolerance stacking.Dipak is tasked with leading customer communications with regard to all quality-related issues and their resolution and implementing all quality planning activities, including quality management systems for the entire organization. He is a member of the new product introduction team and an EVS Metal management representative for the ISO certification program.
General Manager EVS Metal-TX Division
Bob brings over 25 years of manufacturing experience to EVS Metal and was instrumental in the establishment of our Austin facility, which serves all major metropolitan areas of Texas, including Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston and
Prior to his time at EVS, Bob was Operations Manager of the Tenere Corporations Texas facility and Fabrication Supervisor at C&D Technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from West Chester University and an associate’s degree in machine technology from Thaddeus Stevens. Bob is APICS CPIM certified. He is the current president of the Pflugerville Rotary Club, where he received the Paul Harris award in 2012, and served on the board of the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce from 2009-12, where EVS Metal received the Business of the Year award in 2012.
General Manager EVS Metal-PA Division
Diana Soriano joined EVS Metal’s Pennsylvania location as Production Manager in 2013. Diana has been actively involved in point-of-purchase display manufacturing for more than 32 years, and is an expert across multiple fabrication materials.
Her background also includes broad knowledge of many fabrication and finishing processes such as powder coating, silk screening, die cutting and graphics coordinating. Diana prides herself on the strong scheduling, time management and shop-floor tracking skills she has developed over the course of her career, one that has covered many facets of manufacturing, ranging from estimating and purchasing, to project and production management.
Sales Development, New England Region
Linda comes to EVS from The Holden Company which was acquired by EVS Metal in 2008, where she held the position of both CFO and President. She brings over 30 years of experience in accounting and general management to
the company.She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Keene State College. Linda is involved in the community on various boards and is a member of the Keene Elm City Rotary Club. She is a Paul Harris Fellow, formerly International Chair overseeing building work projects in El Salvador and is currently President Elect of the KSC Alumni Board and the KECR Rotary Club.
