Riverdale, NJ – August 22, 2008 — EVS Metal, Inc., a leading supplier of custom fabricated sheet metal, integration, machined parts and engineering services, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Holden Company located in Keene, New Hampshire.

Holden, founded in 1926, specializes in heavier, more complex precision weldments and assemblies, is housed in a 30,000 sq. ft. building on five acres and employs more than 40 sheet metal fabrication specialists and front office employees. EVS plans to continue to operate out of this facility while making key equipment additions of a 4000 watt laser, as well as automated powder coating equipment to compliment the existing wet paint capability.

Scott Berkowitz, President of EVS Metal, stated: “We are happy to welcome the employees and customers of the Holden Company to the EVS family and look forward to growing the business and becoming part of the community much as we have done in Pflugerville, Texas.”

Joseph Amico, Vice President of EVS Metal, believes the acquisition to be an excellent strategic decision for several reasons: “Holden’s location will allow EVS to better service New England, while it’s capabilities in larger and heavier fabrication will compliment the New Jersey facility’s smaller precision chassis and assembly strengths, allowing us to provide a total solution to more of our customers’ metal requirements.”

Linda Lacey, Pres of Holden Co, added: “We are extremely pleased to be a part of EVS. This acquisition will provide us with the tools and support we need to grow our operation, to better serve our customers and at the same time provide EVS with added capabilities and markets.

issues. Most key Barré personnel will remain as part of the new division. A key addition to EVS Metal’s present capabilities will be tooling design, stamping and press work in which Barré has specialized.

Besides its new NH location, EVS has three other metal fabrication and manufacturing facilities across the U.S. including those in central Texas, Eastern Pennsylvania and it’s New Jersey HQ. The company’s capabilities include a full range of services such as high-speed laser cutting, CNC machining and electromechanical assembly and offers a full range of product manufacturing capabilities, from complex welded enclosures to precision machined parts, and serves all of North America.
