At EVS Metal, we are dedicated to complete customer satisfaction. We understand that every client has unique needs, and are committed to providing them with the customized service and solutions they deserve. We understand that without the loyalty and repeat business of our customers, there is no EVS.
EVS Metal recognizes that growth and success in the 21st century are predicated on 100% customer satisfaction and a commitment to the highest sheet metal fabrication standards. To that end, we have cultivated a corporate culture that stresses personal responsibility, continuous improvement, teamwork, innovation, safety and growth. This environment gives EVS team members the freedom to make decisions and allows them to provide our customers with best-in-class service, resulting in on-time delivery of materials that consistently comply with all requested specifications and requirements. Empowering our employees with this level of autonomy throughout the organization ultimately motivates them to maintain a level of performance that is unparalleled within the custom sheet metal fabrication industry.
We pledge to quote all manufacturing services at a fair price, and to offer suggestions for reducing costs whenever possible. We have invested in state-of-the-art metal fabrication and metal finishing equipment specifically designed to produce cost-effective, consistently high-quality parts and innovative fabrication solutions.
As a manufacturer, we are aware of the additional costs and scheduling conflicts that delivery delays can cause. We have dedicated significant time and energy to analyzing the potential causes for these delays and have instituted procedures to ensure that parts routinely reach our customers on time. In fact, EVS has invested in its own fleet of delivery vehicles to ensure product arrives when it is needed. So, whether our clients need sheet metal fabrications in Austin, TX or New York City, we are able to ship parts or finished products to them, fast.
EVS Metal was originally incorporated in 1994 by Scott Berkowitz and Joseph Amico to provide industrial rack mount enclosures for the growing PC market. However, the company quickly found a market for sheet metal fabrication that was thirsting for a fresh approach and true end-to-end manufacturing solutions. Over time, EVS expanded their services to include many industries, including military fabrication, consumer electronics, computers, telecommunications, medical, semiconductors, gaming, power backup, audio/video and gas/oil extraction.
EVS’s first metal fabrication shop in New Jersey was a mere 5,000 square feet, but grew rapidly by leveraging technology, flexibility and skill in both fabrication and design to provide the highest-quality products at competitive prices. However, their greatest differentiator as a manufacturer evolved over time to go beyond just industry expertise. Instead, EVS devised a company-wide strategy combining LEAN manufacturing standards, continuous improvement and a dedication to customer service that resulted in both outstanding customer retention and satisfaction.
In 2001 EVS Metal established a second facility for metal fabrication and finishing, this time focusing on the southern United States. Utilizing the same manufacturing principles and business systems, our Texas location has grown to over 75 employees housed in a 43,000 square foot facility in Pflugerville, just outside of Austin. The Texas facility features the unique capabilities required to work with number eight polished stainless steel, providing a highly-cosmetic end product. In addition to fabrication, EVS Austin also specializes in machining and fabrication of complex welded assemblies and frames.
In October of 2008, EVS purchased the assets of the Holden Company, establishing our third facility for custom sheet metal work. Located in Keene, New Hampshire, it is housed in a 32,000 square foot facility and is capable of fabricating metal product runs of any size, but specializes in large, complicated weldments fabricated out of sheet as well as tubular metal. In fact, NH is home to our Amada FOM2 3015 NT RI laser cutting system with rotary index, which allows us to precisely cut tubing of almost any size and shape, from a wide range of materials. Like our other facilities, EVS NH features in-house finishing including both powder coat and wet paint applications.
Finally, in 2011, EVS opened its East Stroudsburg, PA metal fabrication facility in order to better serve the lighting, construction and solar industries. This location is currently preparing to add a powder coating line in early 2017.
